About Tic-Tac-Tic-Tac-Toe

Tic-Tac-Tic-Tac-Toe is played on a three-by-three grid of smaller three-by-three grids. Winning a small board claims that square on the large board, and each move sends your opponent to the corresponding small board next. The result is still easy to explain at a chalkboard, but the strategy starts to feel much more like a real game of tempo, traps, and long-term positioning.

The core rule

Your move does two things at once: it marks a square and constrains where your opponent must respond. A locally good move can become bad if it gives away the next board.

Daily challenge

Each daily challenge begins from the same seeded opening for everyone and is always played against the hard AI opponent, so shared paths are comparable.

Saved games

Logged-in players can save history, resume unfinished solo games, review completed games, and share board states with other players.
